2019 HAWAII OPEN IS A WRAP! Danielle Collins and Sam Querrey take home the championship trophies.

Championship Saturday started off with a thrilling men’s championship match, Sam Querrey vs. Brandon Nakashima. The energetic match went into a 3 set tiebreak with Querrey capturing the Hawaii Open championship title. During the trophy presentation, Querrey commented on the event saying how the Hawaii Open felt like a tour event based on the very high level of play and incredible crowd support. The fans showed our new champion their love and gave rising star Nakashima a standing ovation as well for his great performance. On the morning of championship Saturday, Angelique Kerber withdrew from the Hawaii Open due to an injury she sustained during her warm-up for the match. This resulted in the tournament adding a Mixed Doubles match, which quickly became one of the most fun matches we have hosted in Hawaii. The competition was a fan favorite and went all the way to a 3 set tiebreak with Harrison and Collins defeating Querrey and Wickmayer.
